Clean water, picturesque nature and proximity to Moscow - all this attracts a large number of vacationers to the shores of the Klyazma Reservoir in the summer. Over the past few years, many areas of the coast have been developed and now there are fully equipped beaches. Among them: Troitskoye beach, Novoaleksandrovo beach, Khlebnikovo beach, Gorki beach.

Beach "Trinity"

The beach is located on the territory of the recreation center of the same name and includes several swimming areas (the total length of the beach area is about 330 meters):

• sandy area, well equipped for bathing children;
• a large main beach, which is a green lawn equipped with paths and stairs leading into the water;
• the shore near the gazebos, covered with sand.

The infrastructure on the beach is well developed, there are:

• toilets, showers, changing cabins;
• rental of beach equipment (including umbrellas and sun loungers);
• rescue and medical centers;
• water entertainment center (offers boating, yachting, catamarans, wakeboarding, water skiing, parasailing and even a helicopter ride);
• several cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the shore;
• large parking (about 400 spaces) 50 meters from the beach.

Vacationers can also rent wooden gazebos equipped with barbecues, or visit one of the other facilities of the Troitskoye recreation area: a living area, a rope course, an observation deck, a waterfall or an equestrian center.

Beach "Novoaleksandrovo"

This sandy beach is located in the Novoaleksandrovo recreation area. It has a comfortable and gentle entry into the water, so it is also popular with families with small children.

The beach has all the infrastructure necessary for a comfortable stay, including:

• locker rooms, toilets, showers;
• rental points for beach equipment - umbrellas and sun loungers;
• trash cans and bins;
• volleyball courts, mini-football field, ping-pong tables;
• children's playground with slides, swings;
• rescue post;
• water slides for children and attractions for adults (jet ski, "tablet", "banana", "Batman" rides, rides on a motor yacht);
• restaurant and bar.

Next to the beach area there is also an extensive banquet area with gazebos and tents.

Gorki Beach

The beach is located in a hilly area, so the banks may be high in some areas. However, the bottom is sandy, without stones or snags, safe for swimming even with small children. On the beach there are toilets and changing rooms, sports grounds (for playing volleyball and football), boat and catamaran rentals. In the recreation area, on the territory of which the Gorki beach is located, there are also gazebos with barbecues and spacious tents (including with a dance floor), rented out for various events - from small family celebrations to large-scale special events.

Beach "Khlebnikovo"

The beach is located to the southwest of all the previous ones and has 2 sections: sandy with wooden stairs for descending into the water and slopes covered with grass, with entry into the water along a natural sandy embankment.

The Khlebnikovo beach is equipped with changing cabins, toilets, drinking water fountains, a medical center, and there are several cafes and a restaurant nearby. For children there is a fenced swimming area, inflatable water slides, trampolines, and car rentals. Entertainment for adults includes: jet skiing, catamaran, banana, cheesecake, volleyball court and table tennis tables for rent.

The recreation area is attractive primarily not as a beach, but as a good place to spend time in nature, barbecue or celebrate some event.

Fishing in the Moscow region: free reservoirs, a brief overview

Volokolamsk region: the rivers Shchetinka, Lama, Iskona, Bolshaya Sestra, Sleznya, Voloshnya, Chernaya, Demshinka, Velga, Kotlovka, Shumarikha, Kolpyana flow. Reservoir Ruzskoye and Sychevskoye.

The length of the reservoir's coastline is more than 16 kilometers.

On the shores of the reservoir there are a large number of different infrastructure facilities for tourism and recreation: cafes, restaurants, bars, hotels, piers, yacht clubs, water sports centers and other establishments offering entertainment for every taste. Among them there are some that appeared quite a long time ago and have a rich history. For example, the Klyazma Reservoir boarding house, built by the decision of the First Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee Nikita Khrushchev in 1963. At one time, the boarding house included 4 buildings, 3 dining rooms, a club with a cinema "Podmoskovny Ogonyok", a store, a school, 3 boat stations and 3 beaches.

Currently, the most famous recreation areas on the Klyazma Reservoir are: Novoaleksandrovo, Khlebnikovo, Gorki, equipped with a pier, and the Troitskoye recreation center with a hotel complex, a cafe, a small zoo, an equestrian club and a waterfall. All of them are located on the southern shore of the reservoir. The northern coast is more suitable for independent, unorganized tourism.

Sailing is very popular on the reservoir, and in the winter - ice sailing (races on ice in sailing boats with metal skates). Vacationers are offered boat trips on boats, yachts, boat rides, catamarans, and jet skis (traffic is quite intense in summer).

What to take with you

If you don’t want to catch a certain fish, then you can take anything as bait - any species, and it will bite. You can use a spinning rod or a regular fishing rod, depending on what is more convenient for you.

Water temperature

The Klyazma reservoir is opened, as a rule, in mid-April. The water warms up approximately by June, when its average temperature is +16 °C. In July–August the water warms up to +19 °C, and in some periods up to +22…+23 °C. From September, the water temperature begins to drop (the monthly average is +14 °C).

By car

You can also get to the reservoir from Moscow by buses: No. 302, 572, coming from “Metro Altufyevo” (terminus of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line).

By train

There are several railway stations within walking distance from the reservoir, the closest of which are Vodniki and Khlebnikovo. You can get to them by train from Savelovsky station.

Of interest to fishermen is the Trinity Spit, as well as areas from Khotilovo to Krasnovidovo. Some people prefer to relax at the local hunting grounds.
