The route to the lake runs along the Yegoryevskoye Highway to the north from the city of Ryazan. From Ryazan to the lake, the length of the route is about 100 kilometers. Directions from Ryazan to Ushmor (to the lake)

By car the route is as follows:

• Highway P123 - Spas-Klepiki;
• Turn onto Yegoryevskoye Highway (Route P105) and drive to the village of Ushmor.

Due to the swampiness and overgrown shores of the lake, there are practically no approaches to it. You can get to the lake from the following settlements:

• Ushmor;
• Tranovo;
• Lunkino.

On the eastern shore you can get to the village of Charsul, but you will have to walk about half a kilometer along the swampy shore.

Fishing on the lakes

There are approximately 175 large and small lakes in the region. Six large ones, with an area of ​​5 square meters. km., the rest less than 0.1 sq. km. White Lake is especially visited. Its area is 23.5 hectares, the greatest depth is 34.2 m. It borders with the Klepikovsky district and the possessions of the Shatura district (Moscow region). It is located five hundred meters from the Spas-Klepiki – Moscow highway, near the village of Dubasovo. It was formed in a natural depression, surrounded by forest.

It has a karst origin: a relief bottom, underground caves, underground wells, sinkholes, etc. Aquatic inhabitants: crucian carp, ide, perch, tench, pike, roach, ruff, loach, verkhovka, there are silver carp, lake trout, carp.

You can catch carp and silver carp with a spinning rod. It is better to fish from a boat in early autumn using a sandwich of worms and bread. Pike is hunted closer to the west using spinning rods, mugs, and winter girders:

• Zherlitsy are placed on underwater slopes, near the edges of aquatic vegetation - depth difference up to 10 m, along the edge of aquatic vegetation.
• In winter and early spring, ide, ruff, and roach are caught with a jig.
• Perch takes winter lures at a depth of 4–12 m, ide – up to 8–14 m.

Fishing and relaxation on the lake

Due to the everywhere overgrown and swampy shores, fishing from the shore is problematic, so the main fishing takes place on a boat with a spinning rod. Great Lake

Velikoye (Kriushinskoye) is a lake in the Klepikovsky district of the Ryazan region, within the Meshcherskaya lowland. One of the largest in the region. It is part of the Klepikovsky lakes system, which begins with the Oak and Holy lakes; They are followed for 48 km by a chain of reservoirs connected by channels, which ends with Lake Martynovo. The water's edge is located at an altitude of about 112 m above sea level. Like most lakes of the Klepikovsky system, the Great Lake is of water-glacial origin.

The duration of freeze-up is about 130 days. Low water temperatures usually last for 6–7 months; in summer, surface waters warm up to 22–26 ° C.

The lake water is fresh, moderately mineralized. In the summer, the water surface is covered with dense thickets of macrophytes - reeds, reeds, cattails, duckweed, etc. In the Prudkovskaya backwater in the north-eastern part of the lake, the thinnest caulinia (naiad) grows - a rare plant, thanks to which the backwater was declared a state nature reserve "Prudkovskaya Lake Backwater" Velikoye" with an area of ​​250 hectares. Due to the high degree of overgrowth with macrophytes, small shallows are scattered throughout the water area of ​​the reservoir, visible through thickets of grass rising a meter above the water. The waters of the lake are currently significantly polluted.

The ichthyofauna of the lake is represented by crucian carp, tench, pike, ide, roach, perch, ruffe, bream, silver bream, blue bream, loach, rotan and verkhovka. The Great Lake among other Klepikovsky lakes is one of the most fishy. With the onset of freeze-up, due to a lack of oxygen in the lake water, some of the fish stay at the mouths of the reclamation ditches connected to the lake, entering them “for clean water.” The winter kills that occur on the lake are local in nature, destroying the fish of shallow and grassy backwaters. At the mouths of ditches blocked by fishing structures, artificial kills may also occur. With a significant drop in water level in dry years, which is accompanied by intense blooming of water and the development of microorganisms harmful to fish in it, summer kills also occur on the lake. Thus, during the summer kill of 1992, many pike, perch, bream, crucian carp and other fish died.

In autumn, a large number of migratory northern ducks gather on the lake. The lake is recognized as a complex natural monument of regional importance, and is also included within the boundaries of the wetland of international importance “Floodplain areas of the Pra and Oka rivers.”

On the banks of the reservoir there are settlements: Prudki, Charsul, Chesnokovo, Koryakino, Lunkino, Tranovo, Ushmor, Barskoye, Tyurvishchi. The town of Spas-Klepiki is located 6 km south of the lake.

In the southern part of the lake, at the mouth of the Koryakinskaya ditch, there is an archaeological site - a Bronze Age settlement. Molded ceramics, flint knives, scrapers, flakes and blades were found here.

Finally, the first trip to Lake Velikoye near Tver this year took place.

The training camp on Friday was for some reason sluggish and without enthusiasm, there were two main reasons for this. Friends said that there is no need to take a snowflake, we are going to the ATO to the place - there is not enough snow, the ice is 45 cm and all cars go along the winter road and the lake to the place. I immediately realized that the lake would be like Red Square... this happens extremely rarely and the place loses its alluring inaccessibility and taiga quality. The second reason is that I received a message from Anatolyevich that he was having troubles with his sheep and couldn’t go. But these reasons were not enough to cancel my trip and I decided to go alone, in a low mood. I got to the winter road, where my Tver friends were waiting for me in a loaf of bread and a Lada hatchback! I realized that things were in trouble, but in unison we continued to move towards the alluring lake. There has never been such a road on a winter road in my memory since 2005, when I first appeared there, halfway at a speed of 60 km! We got to the place where the girders were set up without incident - about 7 km from the exit onto the ice - we accepted the “oncoming” people began to set up, there were six of us, counted around approximately 40! car headlights, although everyone was at a distance of minutes from us. 500-700 meters and huddled close to the reeds, we, knowing the February “specifics” of the lake, were 700 meters from the nearest shore and were exposed into the lake perpendicular to the shore... Out of habit, I placed the first perch at the “wheel”... friends together began to occupy promising places... I helped an older comrade - drilled 11 holes for him with a shura and went to set up his own in a free place along the lake, perpendicular and behind the lines of friends... When I set up, I saw a flag by the car... five minutes of struggle and in my hands the unbent clasp of a fucking “Kontaktov” leash for 7 or 8kg, which I equipped with 2! zherlitsy before the rally on the pond, knowing that there is little chance of monsters biting there. Immediately a thought - where is the second one? The second flag after 5-7 minutes and a torn leash indicated the place where... 10 minutes carefully! I tried to lead you to the hole and had a break in the leash at the place where the lock was installed... I have never had such “whoredom”... and then the first two bites are on you... I immediately accepted the double stopper of the whiskey and decided to deliver two girders, instead of the lost ones!

In min. The 20th third flag was ten meters from the car, I was far from it and asked a friend standing by the car to check, his cry demanded my quick presence with a hook... Our struggle lasted min. 15-20... on the sixth try we were led into the hole, a friend insisted on taking it with his hand, he always does this - the result is a cut on his hand and he let go of the pike, but it didn’t come off! Once again he led her into the hole and now only the hook! Eat!!! She's on ice!!! looks like 8-10 kg...opinions differ, the scales are in the snow at home...They healed a friend’s hand and for the “shot down”!!! My mood has improved significantly! Friends started getting bites. By the end of the day, everyone had a piece. 4-5 each, but not large, from 1.5 to 4 kg. We waited until all the closest neighbors had left and went to spend the night in a “kung” standing on the shore of White Lake.

A friendly dinner with barbecue and mashlyk in a warm carriage with a gas stove, light and stove dragged on until closer to midnight, and at that time the vents kept a combat watch. In the morning we were surprised by a small number of flags - several times less than usual, but friends still took a couple of pikes, I had one. The bite slowly began to improve with dawn, and by lunchtime the “lake owner” gave one of his friends the same mother, they fiddled around for about twenty minutes, his hole, unlike mine, was 130mm. and she stubbornly did not want to go into it, but the right hook left her no chance... Then a friend got a pike for three, swallowed two! live bait from neighboring girders at a distance of 10m!!! We had to tinker, pulled out the pike, and then the girder appeared! For the first time we saw the swallowing of two live bait! By one o'clock in the afternoon they summed up the results and began to remove the girders. Everyone has more than a dozen pikes from 1.5 kg, several under 3-4 kg... The weather is super, light snow and a light breeze. The road home did not bring any problems or adventures, fishing and, most importantly, relaxation in a quiet, remote place took place and old, trusted friends were nearby!
