Fish batter made from cornmeal

Ingredients:
- Fish (saithe) - 700g;
- Fine corn flour - 160g;
- Salt - 0.5 tsp;

- Baking powder - 0.5 tsp;

- Vegetable oil - for frying.
Progress:
1. Clean the fish and remove the bones.
You can take ready-made fillet.
Cut it into portions.
2. Mix dry ingredients first. Add cornmeal, salt, pepper and baking powder to a bowl. Shuffle everything.
3. At the end, add the egg and stir.
Pour in the water, constantly stirring the mixture so that there are no lumps.
4. Dip fish pieces into the prepared batter. You can do this with a fork, or with your hands. The sauce should cover them on all sides.
5. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan. Fry the pieces in it on each side until golden brown.
Place on a plate covered with a napkin to remove excess fat.
You can use any sea creatures you like. It is most convenient to take ready-made fillets from the store rather than cut them yourself. You can also add additional seasonings to suit your taste.
