Lyubertsy and the district of the same name are located very close to Moscow, 18 km to the southeast, and in the spring of 2021 they will unite into the Lyubertsy urban district. Those who decide to come to Dzerzhinsky Ponds on a warm summer day are pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary beauty of the local landscapes. The beach with fine white sand, turquoise water, which does not let swimmers out of its embrace for a long time, reminds many of the southern Russian or Bulgarian resorts.
The beach with numerous water and near-water activities occupies the part of the Big Quarry closest to the city. After sand mining stopped here, areas for summer recreation and swimming were created. You can admire the magnificent views from the ski lift tower here. By going around the quarry on the right side, you can find several more relatively civilized beaches.
In good weather, a variety of people sunbathe on the Lyubertsy quarry beach. In particular, these places attract the most exotic part of vacationers - traveling nudists. To the Holy Lake
Usually fishermen come in winter; winter fishing on the first ice will go there with a bang if you are armed with a lure for perch. Summer fishing in this area is only possible from a boat, since the muddy banks make it impossible to get close to the water at a sufficient distance.
You can get to these lakes by following the Ryazanskoye Highway, after which, near the village of Kosino, turn left and go straight to the lakes. Or go to the Kosino station of the Ryazan railway line, and then move on foot to the reservoirs.
Pekhorka River
Excellent for fans of winter fishing for predators using a spinning rod, since in winter the reservoir is practically not covered with ice. But even in the warm season, fishermen often fish with donks and rods from the shore; their catch most often includes large bream, crucian carp and roach.
You can travel by train, go to the Faustovo station in the Ryazan direction, and then you have to walk about 4 kilometers.
Also famous among fishermen are the lakes located in the area of the Beloozerskaya railway station.
Ryazan direction. The first lake is located about 100 meters from the station. This is a large lake with a sandy bottom, in which there are a lot of crucian carp and rotan. Only the bite of this fish is quite capricious.
The second reservoir is located in the forest; you will have to get to it about 2 kilometers from the station. It is better to get to this reservoir by moving along the highway located to the right of the first lake. This reservoir is quite beautiful and contains a lot of crucian carp, tench, pike and perch. Only fishing on this lake is paid, but it is considered one of the best.
You can get there by train to the Beloozerskoye station in the Ryazan direction, and then on foot.
Beaches at the Dzerzhinsky quarry
There are several sandy beaches at the Dzerzhinsky quarries in the Moscow region. All the main beaches are located along Ugreshskaya Street, where the residential complex is being built. I haven’t fished in those places yet. On the way, I stopped with some people at a pit and talked. All have zero, there is movement on the float. I moved on. There is crust on the ice, snow and water underneath. It's hard to walk. At the beginning of the penguin market I stopped next to one of my colleagues. We talked. Depths are about 7 meters. In the morning, several white bream were caught in the middle of the market. There is silence now. I made several holes towards the shore and fed. After two hours I wandered around them with the hope of catching some fish. Everything became sadder and sadder. He gave up on this matter, wished his colleagues NHNCH and wandered off to look for his fish. The location was chosen across the isthmus onto a stone island. I used to catch perch here, and I caught normal roach. Time 12.00. I drilled two holes at a distance of 4 meters from one another at 3.5 and 3.7 meters and fed it. I found one freshly drilled hole 30 meters from my place. When feeding she showed 4 meters. He left the devil in it and returned to his holes, loading them with jigs and bloodworms. I poured some tea and lit a cigarette. The guard over the hole swayed and went up. I hook and feel there is something. I fish without straining, but the higher you go, the more resistance increases. He reloaded and sat down next to him. Immediately rise and the bream is on the ice. 3-0 in our favor. After this, the hole fell silent. Returned to the first one. Within 15 minutes, 3 bites - 2 underbreeders and one break. Most likely, it was cut off on the lower edge of the ice, because... the resistance was standard, and the line in the hole moved in a circle along the walls. I turned off all the biting. I went to the far hole. When the little devil rises slowly, he bites. Okunek. Then there is silence. Time 14.00. An hour later, two ascents on adjacent holes with an interval of two minutes and two undercuts. Then two bites for the game and two ruffs. At 16.00 it began to wind down. Before twisting the fishing rod with the devil, I decided to make a few postings. There is a bite on the second retrieve. The scoundrel got off right in the hole. I spent another ten minutes drawing to no avail. Moving towards the car, I stopped in a pit where people were sitting. There was no one there, but they left some trash - don’t worry, mom. I collected what fit into the package. Got the devil. I think, let me check, the holes are fed. Already when lowering, poking began, but there was no normal bite. I was delayed for an hour. I caught six small roach from a depth of 9 meters and a bleak at half-water. I picked up the trash and headed home at 5:30 p.m. The photo was taken before roach fishing.
How to get to the Dzerzhinsky quarry
The Dzerzhinsky quarries do not have an exact address, since they extend over an area of several square kilometers. There are many areas suitable for swimming.
Minibuses and buses run from Moscow to Dzerzhinsk from several metro stations. The journey from the outlying metro stations of the capital takes 30–40 minutes.
- No. 305 from the Lyublino station (Lublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line) to the Rynok stop (7-10 minutes walk to the quarries).
- No. 904 from Kotelniki station (Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line) to the Freestyle stop.
- No. 595k from the Kuzminki station (Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line) to the Rynok stop.

You can get to the quieter beach on the opposite side of the quarry by the same minibuses/buses, but get off at the “Ul. Ugreshskaya, 26" (if you go from "Kotelnikov") or at the stop "Ul. Lesnaya, 13" (from other metro stations).

Moscow public transport schedule
There is one non-standard option for how to get to the Dzerzhinsky quarries. On weekends, a boat runs from the Moscow Kolomenskoye pier to the Nikolo-Ugreshsky Monastery. This method will allow you to get to the quarries without crowding on buses. The boat offers picturesque views. From the monastery to the Big Lyuberetsky quarry - 10-15 minutes on foot.
On weekends, minibuses and buses are crowded; you can take a taxi to the metro station. The most favorable prices in the applications: Yandex.Taxi, Uber, Gett, Maxim, Taxi Lucky.
How to get to the Dzerzhinsky quarry by car
The driving route will depend on your departure location. Each quarry has several access points. When planning your route using the navigator, focus on residential buildings and buildings - where they are, there is a road. From time to time, some dirt roads along the quarries are blocked due to construction, but you can always find a backup option. The two most popular quarry races:
- From the city from Ugreshskaya street.
- Through the city and further through the forest along Lesnaya Street.
In the first case, you will get to the main beach with infrastructure. In the second - to another quarry without one main beach, with small areas for entering the water.
The most spacious parking is located at the Bolshoi Lyubertsy quarry. On weekends, it is better to park earlier - closer to the quarries, there are usually no free spaces. Paid parking is located at Ugreshskaya, 19.
