Paid fishing on Nara Ponds

How often have many of us had to return from fishing with an extremely meager catch? Or when something very necessary right here and now ran out while fishing? Now we have the opportunity to improve this situation, namely, paid fisheries. Similar “establishments” for fishing began to appear in the 50s of the last century throughout Russia.

We will now tell you about one of them, the Nara fishing farm. Back in 1932, at this place, in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow Region, along the Nara cascade of ponds, the first carp fish farm in the RSFSR “Nara” was opened, and now its direct successor is called the Nara Islands Fish Farm LLC. The size of this fishery exceeds a thousand hectares, of which more than 800 are water surfaces.

Overview of the reservoirs of the Nara Islands fishery

Throughout the complex there are a number of different lakes with different fish catch rates and different types of fish. As a rule, the entrance fee is paid once a day, less often - during one daylight hours. The internal division of the fish farm occurs into three sections, which, in turn, are divided into various ponds.

  • The average cost for a pass to a certain lake is around 1,500 rubles.
  • The minimum fish catch rate is 5 kg from a pond, the entrance fee to which is 600 rubles.

Right upon arrival at this fish farm, you have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the book of reviews, in which fishermen who have been here share their impressions of their fishing and the results.

It is almost impossible to find negative reviews in these books, for many reasons, the main of which is the professionalism of the employees and ecologists, who constantly monitor the acidity of the water, the health of the fish, as well as spawning.

Pond "Mint"

Reservoirs "Mint" (5,6) belong to the area of the same name, the average depth of the pond does not exceed 2.5 meters; the artificially poured sandy shore contributes to the constant saturation of the water with oxygen, which has a beneficial effect on the health of the fish living here.

The coastal area is equipped with various bridges and pedestrian areas, the approaches to the lake are cleared and present no difficulties, and gazebos with barbecues and cozy summer houses are located along the perimeter.

The cost of entry to the pond is 1,600 rubles per day per person, and the average norm for caught fish ranges from - 7.5 to 15 kg.

Pond fish

The fauna living in the reservoir varies from trout to crucian carp. You can also find ruffs, pikes, roaches and tench there. And of course, the historical “inhabitant” of the Nara fish farm – table carp.

Pond "Triangle"

“Triangle” refers to the Dyutkovsky site, all of whose reservoirs (“Predator”, “Trout”, 8, 9, in addition to “Triangle”) are considered elite.

This lake has a limited number of spots, but can be fished year-round. From the infrastructure of the lake, one can note the proximity to guest houses and tackle shops. Also, the ponds of the Dyutkovsky site are equipped with guarded parking lots.

The cost of an entrance ticket to the pond is 1,600 rubles for 1 daylight, with the established catch limit being 7 kg.

Pond fish

It’s not for nothing that these ponds are called elite; in them you can find large carp, trout, crucian carp, pike and perch.

Pond "Dyutkovo" (Nara)

The Nara pond is perhaps the most popular in the entire fish farm, despite the highest entrance ticket price - 2,500 rubles per daylight hours!

It is the oldest in the entire complex, because it was opened at the very beginning of the existence of the Nara fish farm, which is how it earned its name.

Pond fish

In this reservoir, as in the reference one, you can find mainly carp weighing from 1.2 kg and medium-sized trout! Everyone who has ever fished on this lake is satisfied with the fishing results!

Pond "Asakovo"

The Asakovsky section is the most budget-friendly in the entire complex - the price of an entrance ticket to the most expensive reservoir (Asakovo) is 600 rubles per day!

The entire complex of ponds in this area is not deep, from 1 to 2 meters, a huge lake with a clean grassy shore, ideal for outdoor recreation. Nearby there is a tackle shop and a small outdoor cafe.

As a pleasant bonus, the administration does not prohibit driving your own vehicle to this lake, however, there are no parking lots next to it, which, of course, is compensated by the low cost of the entrance ticket. Also, for pensioners on these sites there are discounts - 50% of the initial cost.

Pond fish

In this lake you can find various “local” fish: crucian carp, ruffe, roach, pike and perch! As you can see, the fauna is diverse.

Fishing on a pond

On expensive ponds, fishing hours are limited: from 6.00 to 10 pm. Night fishing is allowed only in summer. Occupy sites as early as possible in the morning. If you bring a boat with you, space is easier. But boats are required to be registered upon entry to the ponds. Boats are only allowed those that are not equipped with an engine.

If you brought a boat with a motor, fishing from it is prohibited.

All types of gear are allowed on the Nara Ponds (except for nets, of course). But there is a limit of 2 tackles per person. And for 3, 4 tackles you pay an additional 200 rubles. Fishing with nets is prohibited in all ponds. There is a fine for this.

What is there for a fisherman on the territory of the Myata recreation area?

  • You can rent everything you need for fishing : equipment, several baits.
  • Several gazebos with barbecues have been installed.
  • There are bridges for fishermen along the perimeter.
  • The organizers of the holiday opened the bathhouse for visitors.
  • Fisherman's house. It is possible to spend the night in a small summer house. It is designed to accommodate 8 people at a time. The house has 2 floors, spacious and comfortable for children and women.
  • There are awnings along the shore to hide from the rain.
  • The entire territory of this recreation area is clean and well-groomed. The ponds are cleared of reeds.

As for the depth of the reservoir, it is 2 meters. This is enough to hatch fish. Although the bottom of the site is sandy, swimming in it is strictly prohibited. First of all, because the purpose of the recreation area is still different. There are a lot of fish in “expensive” ponds. She is fed, large, and just waiting to be caught.

It is for this reason that there are no places for children to swim.

Fishing on Asakovsky has the following differences:

  • You are allowed to come at any time, even in winter or early spring.
  • The fish is not overfed. The bite is good, but closer to noon. Since in the morning it hides under the reeds.
  • You can fish from any free place.

Most of the ponds in the Asakovsky district are about 1 meter. There is a chance to catch large crucian carp here, but more often, medium-sized fish.

From time to time, fishing competitions are held at sports ponds. Most often, such events are organized at the Triangle or Dyutkovo sites. The competition schedule is announced in advance on the Nara Islands base website.

On the site we talked about fishing in different areas of the Moscow region. Read in detail about fishing in Dubki, Odintsovo district.

Features of fishing at the Nara Ponds

From the peculiarities of fishing on “Nary”, you can notice that not all lakes are open all year round; some have access only during specified months, namely:

  • “Mint” - here fishing is allowed all year round and, what is very important, the summer and winter rates differ; As a rule, in winter the price tag is 3-4 times less, but it is not fixed and changes every year. In winter 2016 – 300 rubles.
  • “Triangle” is an elite lake that is open all year round, but places on it are limited for the sake of the comfort of fishermen.
  • The “Asakovsky” site, as the largest in the entire fish farm, is open all year round, is perfect for families with children and has a low cost - 600 rubles per day, as of summer 2016, and in winter the price does not exceed 200 rubles!
  • “Dyutkovo” (“NARA”) - alas, this lake is open for fishing only from July to September, and the reason for this is that this reservoir is part of the production zone of the entire fish farm. Fishing here is rightfully considered elite.

Accommodation options

If someone has a desire to spend the night close to the fishing spot, then “Ponds” will always be able to solve this problem.

“The Fisherman’s House” is a two-story cottage, equipped with everything necessary and suitable for living for 8 people! Near the house there is a terrace for a large company, which can easily accommodate 12 people, and is equipped with barbecues!

Services

Due to its enormous popularity among many fishermen, the range of services provided here is simply enormous - next to each pond you can buy the missing tackle or bait. Grills are available for cooking freshly caught fish. Paid parking and several cafes, everything that fishermen and members of their families might need!

Water

The department has 802 hectares of ponds. water resources. And the land at their disposal is 1139 hectares. At the base, several areas of water resources are allocated into separate categories, according to the cost of entry and the “rating” of visits:

The most popular reservoir is the Myata fishing area. This is practically a recreation center with all amenities. No wonder visitors call it an “elite” area. Besides this, there are 2 more plots. They are cheaper, but quite suitable for ordinary fishermen who come to the fishery just for the fish.

Each site is geographically associated with several ponds.

We list all the plots available on the farm in the Myata zone:

  • mint;
  • №5;
  • and No. 6.

In the Dyutkovsky area you can catch rare species of fish. Men come here alone to enjoy the fishing process. There is nothing remarkable about it - the same gazebos and parking for cars as at other paid fish farms. But it is in this territory that you can try to catch sturgeon or trout.

Quite often you come across quite large individuals.

Dyutkovo:

  • 8A,
  • 9A,
  • trout pond,
  • Triangle,
  • a pond called Predator;
  • Hourly;
  • №8
  • №9.

Asakovsky section

The area is unremarkable, but also well stocked with fish. The bottom is very clean. If in other areas there is a whole queue for places near the water, then in this zone the number of free places is unlimited. The area of the ponds is very large, and there is enough space for everyone, while “Mint” has a small territory.

Asakovsky:

  • Dyutkovo-1;
  • Trosnyansky;
  • Sofinsky.

There are still 2 ponds to the south, but they are not stocked. You can approach them freely. The advantage of Asakovsky Pond is that you can drive your car directly to the fishing spot.

Pond fish

Stocking reservoirs with fish is different. Since the fee for an elite area is higher, there are correspondingly more types of fish there, and they are larger.

The following types of fish are found in 2 elite reservoirs:

Nara ponds fishing

  • roach;
  • perch;
  • trout;
  • carp;
  • catfish;
  • pike;
  • lines;
  • carp;
  • crucian carp.

Silver carp and grass carp are also often found on Dyutkovsky. But in both cases, a weight limit on catch applies. If the weight of the fish caught is greater, you need to pay the specified amount.

But on the cheap “Asakovsky” site there are no rare fish like sturgeon and trout. And they don’t let catfish in there. There are only pikes, ruffs, carps, roaches, and crucian carp. Therefore, there are no restrictions.

Here you will learn about fishing in Andreikino, a village 60 km from the Moscow Ring Road.

"Dyutkovsky" complex

The Dyutkovsky complex of the Narskie Islands fish farm includes several ponds. The most popular reservoir in this group is the “Triangle”, which is aimed at catching large carp. From May to October, angler fish trophies include specimens weighing 3–12 kg.

On a note! According to the experience of regulars of this reservoir, the largest carp are caught on boilies with a diameter of 1.5–2 mm with a fruit or chocolate aroma.

Since the fish in this pond are very spoiled, special attention should be paid to the composition of the bait. An attractive mixture should have a yellowish color and a pronounced aroma. It should contain particles of both fine and medium grinding.

In the Triangle pond you can catch good fish not only for carp. Also inhabited here:

  • crucian carp;
  • perch;
  • pike;
  • catfish;
  • silver carp;
  • sturgeon;
  • White amur;
  • trout.

The price of a day trip to this pond is 1.6 thousand rubles. By paying this amount, an angler can catch 7 kg of fish. By purchasing a fishing permit, a guest of the reservoir receives the use of a barbecue grill, a gazebo and an equipped platform. For exceeding the established limit, an additional payment of 200 rubles is provided. for 1 kg.

Trophy carp
The ponds of the Dyukovsky complex often delight anglers by catching trophy carp.

The second most popular pond of the Dyutkovsky complex is called “Nara”. The main fish of the reservoir is crucian carp. This representative of the carp family lives here in huge numbers and bites steadily from May to October. In addition to this species, there are:

  • carp;
  • roach;
  • pike;
  • perch;
  • catfish;
  • trout.

This pond is perfect for a family vacation. Fishing on the Nara pond will especially appeal to novice anglers who want to see a large number of bites and are not chasing trophy specimens. A daily fishing permit will cost 2.5 thousand rubles.

Reviews about fishing at Nara Ponds

I first went fishing on Narskie back in 2011; in those days, even under the previous owners, the coastal area left much to be desired. Everything was dirty, there were a catastrophic shortage of trash cans! However, now, the new administration has changed the rules, the areas are constantly being cleaned, clean and tidy. It’s very nice to have the opportunity to stay overnight; we’ve used it more than once with friends. The only thing that hasn't changed since my first visit here is the fish. There's a lot of it. There really is a lot of it! My personal record on “Mint” is 24 kg of total fish weight! I recommend it to everyone, great place! Grade:

I remember that I first went to the Nara fish farm back in the mid-70s, then they let us in only through great connections. And now it is possible to travel there permanently and quite legally. As a pensioner, I also have a discount on access to the ponds, which makes me very happy, thanks to the new administration. The catches there are excellent, the best bite is at dawn and before 12 noon, after which it’s not at all the same. I recommend everyone to go fishing there at least once! Grade:

For a long time my friends tried to persuade me to go on a paid fishing trip, but I always refused. I just couldn’t understand, well, what’s the point of paying money for something that you can get absolutely free in any river? They all persuaded me to do so; upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and well-groomed conditions; it somehow didn’t fit into my head that a former fish farm could have such order. I would like to express my gratitude for the service; we arrived at 5 am, but were immediately able to pay for our tickets and settle down on the shore. Literally 5-10 minutes after casting I pulled out the first carp, honestly, there was no limit to my surprise. As a result, I caught 14 kg for the whole day! Unfortunately, the norm (as I understand it) is 10 kg per ticket, so for 4 kg I had to pay an additional 800 rubles, although, to be honest, I don’t regret such excellent fish at all! Friends, I wish everyone such catches. I hope to visit these ponds more than once!

"Mint"

The pond called “Mint” is one of the most popular bodies of water that is part of the Nara Islands fishery department. Its average depth is about 2 m. There is practically no vegetation on the hard clay bottom. Sloping banks provide convenient access to the water. The ichthyofauna is represented by the following species:

  • carp;
  • crucian carp;
  • tench;
  • roach;
  • perch;
  • pike;
  • catfish;
  • trout;
  • sturgeon.

Most anglers come to the mint pond. To catch carp. To catch it, light-class feeder tackle is usually used. The most effective baits are:

  • medium-sized boilies with a diameter of 1–1.5 cm;
  • canned corn;
  • pellets

On a note! In spring and autumn, the local carp prefers to peck at the worm. As bait, you can successfully use various purchased mixtures with the addition of large particles.

Other representatives of the carp family can be caught either with a feeder or with a classic float rod. Animal type baits work better in cold water. In summer, boiled barley and semolina show good results.

The bulk of the predator on the Myata pond is caught in the autumn. Pike and perch can be caught using various jig baits cast in the bottom layers. Small representatives of these species stay in the coastal zone and readily bite on rotating spoons and small wobblers.

Crucian carp are found in all ponds of the Narskie Islands fish farm and consistently bite on bottom and float gear from May to October.

In winter, the best bait for fishing for striped fish is considered to be a natural-colored balancer 4–6 cm long. Pike can be caught well on girders.

Catfish that live in the Myata pond are more often caught on bottom and feeder gear when fishing for carp. Their favorite bait is a bunch of dung worms. Throughout the entire period of open water, sturgeon weighing up to 8 kg can be caught well with the same bait.

Many spinning anglers come to this reservoir for trout. In spring and autumn, this fish consistently bites on the following types of bait:

  • “turntables” No. 0–2;
  • wobblers of varying degrees of depth;
  • small twisters made from “edible rubber”.

In winter, trout prefer small balancers and vertical silver-colored spinners.

For the convenience of fishermen, wooden platforms and gazebos are equipped along the entire perimeter of the pond. Guests of the Nara Islands fish farm can stay in small summer houses or rent a room in a cottage. There is a specialized store on site that sells:

  • tackle;
  • bait;
  • lure;
  • various fishing equipment.

The daily cost of the tour is 1.6 thousand rubles. The catch limit is limited to five kilograms. If you exceed this limit, you will have to make an additional payment.

Pond "Triangle"

This pond is part of the Dyutkovsky complex. The reservoir, which was once formed by a railway embankment, today offers guests elite fishing.

The number of places is small, so many people buy tickets in advance. 24-hour rest is not practiced here.

For their money, voucher holders can count on 7 kg of catch, an individual grill, a gazebo, and a fishing bridge. There are trash cans and restrooms throughout the area. Customers' cars in the parking lot are guarded.

Pond fish

A fairly dense stocking of the pond is ensured by such fish as:

  • large (“trophy”) carp;
  • sturgeon;
  • catfish;
  • trout;
  • pike;
  • crucian carp;
  • perch.

Reviews

Anglers describe this pond as a well-stocked place. Many say that they almost always catch the norm, or even more. At the same time, quite large specimens from 0.7 kg to 5 kg come across.

Some fishermen caught silver carp and grass carp on the Triangle. Everyone notes that on this small body of water you need to take a place in advance, or arrive very early, or late, when the early ones have already “fished”.

Prices

When planning to go fishing in the Triangle, consider the following prices:

  • a trip for one day of light will cost 1600 rubles. from each fisherman;
  • Exceeding the fishing limit is paid at 165 rubles. per kilogram;
  • female guest pays 300 rubles;
  • Children under 14 years old stay here free of charge.

Nara Islands

The company that organizes family vacations and fishing on these ponds is called Rybkhoz Narskie Islands LLC. This fishery has a history of more than eighty years.

The Nara fish farm appeared in this swampy area at the source of the Nara River. In 1932, by government order, a production capacity of 600 quintals was included in the grandiose fishery project.

Unfortunately, the war brought destruction to the reservoir system. Many dams were destroyed and structures were destroyed.

Nara ponds. Fishing

In 1944, the revival of the economy began. Other areas of activity began to develop successfully: gardening, duck farm, field farming.

In terms of fish farming, there was some decline. At that time, only the Dyutkovsky pond was functioning, and the fish in it were, for the most part, trash: perch, ruffs, pike, etc.

The productivity of ponds began to revive from the middle of the last century.

Fish seeding material began to be grown in large quantities, and reservoirs significantly increased their productivity.

At that time, the fish farm owned more than 500 hectares of production area, including Asakovsky, Vyglyadovsky, Dyutkovsky and more than 25 nursery ponds.

Since the 60s, another 14 reservoirs for various purposes and a huge complex for wintering fish larvae and fry with a laboratory and incubator have been introduced. At the same time, they begin to reconstruct Dyutkovsky and Asakovsky.

Additional warehouses were built, the previous premises and structures were repaired, and the dam of the Sofinsky and Asakovsky ponds was filled. Due to these measures, fish productivity almost doubled.

In 1998, Rybkhoz Narskie Islands LLC was registered on the basis of the former fish farm.
