There is a beach in this place, and the Oka River merges with the Protva River. In the summer you can drive a passenger car with high ground clearance (VAZ, Skoda and the like), in the spring and autumn, depending on the rainy seasons, it is quite possible to drive crossovers.
You can drive classic SUVs without preparation, but with mud tires, at any time of the year. On the Protva River you can find places for fishing with a float rod; you can have a great time with a spinning rod along the banks of the Protva and the Oka River. On the Oka, fishing is mainly done with feeder and bottom gear.

Day 2.
In the morning I explained to the team where the best place to go fishing was, since those who had already been on the river had never stopped here and always passed by.
Well, after breakfast, together with Anatoly, I began to prepare the riding and cargo mood for myself and Ivan. I wasn’t in a hurry, so by the time I finished and the three of us went fishing, at one o’clock in the afternoon, part of the group returned back. With empty hands. Not a single bite. Ha, I chuckled mentally, now “dad” will go and show how to fish, fortunately I didn’t talk about the secret places in detail, and it’s difficult to fish there, to tell it in words, you have to show it. Oh well. Showed it. I reached the Buryat threshold. A lot of wasted time. Half of the tried spinners, flies, riding, cargo. I visited all my favorite places. No bites. Well, somehow. It's always been here! But don’t return to camp empty-handed, fortunately there is time. I decided to try to climb the rocks beyond the threshold and go below the Museum. It wasn't easy, but I managed to get through. I walked through the door and started looking at all the potential places, since there were plenty of them there. Silence. In the end, I got tired of it, I just gave up my riding mood and walked along the shore. After some time, I jerk, I bring it out, there is grayling, I put it in the canal. Hurray, at least not empty-handed. Visually I figured out where the bite was and decided to once again carry out a riding setup there. Purely mechanically I looked at my watch, it was 14.48. As a result, I set several personal records.
- The orange EVA kan compacted (34 tails) in 1 hour and 1 minute.
- All the fish were caught without leaving one place during this time.
- On the channel there are only 5 exits and 7 empty entries.
- There was not a single small one on the kan. However, trophies too.
The most amazing thing is that all the fish stood in a small area of 3*5 meters, approximately. A meter left and right, higher and lower, and no fish. I found out this later, when I filled the canal and decided to check what and how it was in other places, since I still had a backpack where I could put the fish. I threw everything I could in the vicinity, went quite a bit lower (caught 1 grayling). Well, no fish, at least cry. As a result, I returned to my favorite rock, caught 10 more tails and went to the camp in order to return before dark, still 2.5 km to walk, but on rocks and stones.
Returned. The men are sad. Lyokha, who was fishing for grayling for the first time, caught 3 of them. Hmm, the law on newcomers has not yet been repealed
