How did the Mozhaisk reservoir appear?

The Mozhaisk Reservoir was formed about 60 years ago for the construction of a new hydroelectric power station. To do this, it was gradually filled with water from the Moscow River and, at the end of 1962, it was completely filled.

This camp site grew up on the coastal outskirts of Goretovo - in the Filippkovo tract. We are talking about the eastern shore of an artificial lake. From the porch of most houses to the water is only 4 m.

Staying is carried out in interesting bungalows - they consist of two module-rooms connected by a semi-open terrace with railings, where you can place outdoor furniture.
