Vyatka River

Luza River

Vetluga River

The main prey of the river is considered to be roach and bleak, of which there are a huge number here.

Vyatka River

Lezhninskoye Lake

Access to the lake itself is difficult; access is only possible with off-road vehicles. The majority of fishermen leave their vehicles halfway and get there on foot.

Grayling

Found in tributaries of the Kama River and Vyatka River. It grows up to 0.5 meters in length and weighs 1 kg.

Zander

Can gain weight up to 12 kg, growing up to 60 inches in length. It is characterized by a greenish tint and an arrangement of 8 to 12 dark stripes on the sides of the body. The pike perch's belly is light. Pike perch feeds on small fish. It is quite rare in these places.

In one part of the region there is a wonderful lake Kuvshinskoye, which has been attracting fishermen for many years. The great depth of the reservoir provides excellent conditions for fishing. There are large quantities of perch, pike, crucian carp and bream.

True, fishing from the shore on this lake is quite dangerous and problematic, since anglers often stumble upon swampy areas of the shore. But the swampiness of the bottom layer in certain places adds particular problems, which reduces fishing with a float rod to nothing.

For fishing from the shore, local fishermen prefer to use bottom gear.

Local fishermen feed them with wheat cereal in combination with steamed peas. The baiting tactic is one-time – the fish are fed before fishing starts, and then they wait until the bait starts to take effect. It is not recommended to feed the fish additionally.

If you decide to use the recommended bait tactics, then you should count on a quick reaction from the fish; it will begin to bite no earlier than half an hour later. The best time for fishing is to choose early morning or go to the reservoir late in the evening.

You can catch fish here in any part of the reservoir. Fishing per day will cost one and a half thousand rubles per person.
Sosnovy village. Some local ponds breed carp and allow anglers to catch fish for 70 rubles a day, which is quite cheap. As for other services, you will have to pay for them separately.
Fishing in the village of Klyukovo. Here they breed trout. Within the pond there is a house where you can spend the night. Large fish are caught here, and the low cost (only 100 rubles) attracts many anglers, especially since trout is caught here.
In the direction of Strizhi, turning towards Doronichy, you can get to paid reservoirs created artificially. For 50 rubles a day you can catch any fish here.
Sanatorium "Vyatskie Uvaly". There is a beautiful koi pond here. For one kilogram of caught fish you will have to pay 35 rubles. There is a lot of fish here, and the price is attractive.
