Reservoirs in the Moscow region
Paid fishing is provided on lakes with an area of about 12 and 0.6 hectares, so you don’t have to worry about free space - there’s enough for everyone.
The lake is natural, has a somewhat elongated shape, its depth does not exceed 5–6 meters for a large lake, and 2 meters for a small lake. The level of vegetation is low, which has a positive effect on the convenience of placing fishermen on the shore. Fishermen can treat themselves to a fairly rich catch of different types of fish. The lake contains:
- crucian carp,
- som,
- sturgeon,
- pike,
- perch,
- White amur,
- trout.
All fish are medium in size, however, some particularly lucky fishermen often manage to catch real trophies. Work is carried out periodically to stock the lake with fish, so fishing in the Chekhov district near Kapustino is guaranteed to provide fishermen with a catch.
There is a special area fenced off on the pond where beginners can try their hand and practice. This zone maintains the highest possible density of fish, which ensures a catch for a beginner.
You can fish in Kapustino using lures; maggots, corn, bloodworms, etc. are used as bait. Most often, the catch consists of trout, but other types of fish are also often found. You can fish with a spinning rod or a donkey, using a landing net. It is prohibited to use nets, electric fishing rods or fishing with elastic bands.
According to the legislation of the Russian Federation, there are three types of reservoirs for fishing enthusiasts, which differ in their legal status. The first includes free places where almost everyone can fish without paying.
The second type includes paid fishing ponds, which are organized by individual entrepreneurs. The third type exists for larger industrial fishing.
Before you start fishing on a paid reservoir, you must purchase a permit.
Every year the list of such places in Russia grows steadily. In this regard, organizations in the Moscow region are not lagging behind.
Fishing in the Chekhov region
Several species of fish are found in the reservoirs of the sports club:
- silver carp;
- carp;

One of the favorite vacation spots for Muscovites is Trial Russian Fishing LLC, which is located in the village of Masnovo-Zhukovo. For trout lovers in the Moscow region, paid fishing in this place is perfect. Moreover, according to the map it is located only 63 km from the Moscow Ring Road. The fastest way to get to the reservoir is along the Warsaw Highway through Podolsk.
At the intersection with Kaluga Highway you need to turn left, towards Chekhov. After driving 10.3 km, you should turn towards the village of Yuzhnye Ozera. After 600 m there will be a turn to the right, from which you will have to drive 400 m to the reservoir. The limited liability company has been operating for 8 years and their activities have 2 directions:
- Organization and development of sport fishing, which is based on teaching various methods of fishing. Experts help novice fishermen choose suitable gear, especially for trout fishing.
- Conducting social and cultural events to ensure the best possible recreation for visitors to the reservoir. The organization also often holds sports fishing events, which you can find out about in advance from the news on the official website of the enterprise.
Upon arrival at the reservoir, fishermen can purchase a permit for a day, day or night fishing. There is a system of discounts, thanks to which the holiday will be cheaper. Fishing will be even cheaper if you purchase a certificate that is valid for 12 months.
The total area of the reservoir occupies about 8 hectares, which is constantly replenished with various species of fish. Here you can catch carp, crucian carp, silver carp, trout, etc.
Within the boundaries of the region there are two natural reservoirs - the Nara and Lopasnya rivers.
Fishing on the Nara
This river, originating from Lake Poletskoye, flows through several districts of the Moscow region and flows into the Oka near the city of Serpukhov. The ice does not form in December, but disappears in April.
The river is home to many different species of fish; bleak, chub, gudgeon, roach, burbot, perch, bream, ide, crucian carp, asp. Pike live in the pond up to medium size.
The river in the area often has flat, gently sloping banks. Fish are caught here mainly with float rods and spinning rods. Sometimes fly fishermen fish on the pond.
Spinning on the Nara is effective in clear water. You should start fishing in June, after the fishing ban is lifted, and continue until ice appears on the reservoir. More ultralight rods with small-sized baits are in use. Medium perch go well with silicone; ide, chub, and asp go well with spinners and wobblers. Moreover, all these fish are active all summer.
During the entire period of open water, pike are caught well. In summer, it hides in ambush in the upper and middle layers of water, among aquatic thickets. Therefore, the best bait for it is popper and surface wobblers.
As the weather gets colder, you should look for the toothy one closer to the bottom. By this time, she begins to catch more on silicone baits, and also prefers foam rubber. All of the above is attached to jig heads, the most rational weight of which for Nara is close to 15 g.
Fishing on Lopasna
In the Chekhov region, the first interesting place on the Lopasnya River is a pond in the settlement of Efimovka. This is an artificial reservoir created on the Lopasnya riverbed. It is interesting for perch, which is well caught with a spinning rod. The most catchy time for minke whales begins in July and continues until the autumn cold.
Carp hunting in Lopasnya is promising in areas near the settlements of Bogdanovka and Tyufanka. They catch crucian carp here mostly with float rods, preferring fly rods, match gear and maggots, semolina and bread as bait. The place is visited by fishermen even after ice has formed on Lopasna. The roach goes well with the jig, and the perch doesn't lag behind it.
An interesting place for fishing is the dam in Chekhov. Before and after it you can always catch roach, bleak, and perch. True, their size is more than small, although it is rare, but there are also bites of large individuals.
Fishing in Golygino
In this settlement of the Chekhov district, located next to Novy Byt, there is a large (12 hectares) pond, which has long been offering paid fishing and recreation to amateurs, including for the whole family.
