Description of the reservoir

The Laguna Fishing Base is located in the Moscow region in the small and cozy village of Misailovo, located 7 km south of the Moscow Ring Road and 2 km east of the Kashirskoye Highway.

At the moment, the Laguna fishing and recreation park rents the Maly Misailovsky Pond, a reservoir with an area of about 1.2 hectares with an average depth of 2.5-3 meters located 120 meters west of the village.

Important! The Bolshoi Misailovsky pond, rented and previously used by the Laguna fishing park, was released in November 2021 due to a breakdown of the sluice water shut-off device. In the future, the tenants plan to clean and lime the reservoir bed, reconstruct the dam and lock, fill it and stock it with fish.

Its area is 0.4 hectares, the depth reaches 4 meters. Stocking is carried out daily.

What kind of fish are there?

The main object of recreational fishing in Maly Misailovsky Pond is mirror carp. In addition to it, the following types of fish live in the reservoir:

crucian carp;
tench;
roach.

There are small quantities of pike and perch in the pond. Stocking the pond with trout is planned in the future.

Paid fishing in 2 reservoirs. It is advisable to check the current fishing rules in advance with the base administration, as they may change depending on the season.
Rent of gazebos on the shore of the main body of water. You can rent a cozy gazebo on the shore for the entire holiday. Each gazebo can accommodate 6 people.
Houses for rent. For a complete rest, the base offers rental houses for 2-4 persons with a kitchen, bedroom and heating. The conditions in them are spartan, but the minimum comfort for life is met.
Beach. To the delight of families and friends of adventurous fishermen, there is an equipped sandy beach where guests can swim and sunbathe to their heart's content, and there is a playground for children.
Nutrition. A cafe has recently opened in the park, where vacationers will be treated to delicious and hot food according to traditional recipes.
Sale of live and smoked fish. Those interested can purchase fish kept in special cages live or ask for it to be cooked.
Rental of fishing equipment and related accessories. You can rent fishing equipment (except sports equipment), a fishing chair or a barbecue grill for cooking barbecue.
Shop of goods for fishing and recreation. If you forgot something at home, no problem: there is a fishing store in the park, where you can buy all kinds of tackle, bait, fertilizer and other necessary accessories for successful fishing and outdoor recreation.

Reservoirs

Main reservoir (upper)

The area of 12.5 hectares is the result of artificial flooding through the construction of a dam on the river. The maximum length is about one kilometer, the width in some places reaches 130 meters. Average depths range from 4 to 7 meters. The reservoir is flowing with a constant noticeable current. Along the shore there are gazebos for up to 6 people and houses for 2 and 4 beds. The houses are equipped with kitchens with gas stoves and sinks, and are also equipped with dishes. The bedrooms have gas heaters.

Lower Pond

The pond is located below the dam of the main reservoir next to the parking lot. The area of the pond is 0.3 hectares with average depths from 2 to 4 meters. The pond is also flowing due to water coming from the upper reservoir through an overflow system. The entire volume of water is renewed in less than two days. A very high concentration of fish is constantly maintained in the pond. Currently used for year-round trout fishing.

Rules for staying in the Laguna fishing and recreation park

Issuance of a voucher implies compliance by the client with the basic rules of the club:

One voucher is valid for one person. Women and children under 12 years old can accompany the fisherman free of charge.
It is allowed to use 2 gears in summer, 3 gears in winter. Additional tackle will cost 500 rubles. The fine for violating the rule is 1000 rubles.
The administration may adjust the fishing rules and operating hours in different seasons, so it is worth familiarizing yourself with the latest changes in advance on the club’s website or by phone.
Cleaning and cooking caught fish on the club premises is prohibited. Fish must be kept in cages and presented for weighing at the end of fishing. Unregistered fish are subject to a fine equal to 10 times their value.
If there are no places on the bridge, fishing from the shore can be organized while maintaining the cost of the trip.
You cannot release caught fish, for this the fine will be 5,000 rubles.
Trophy fish weighing more than 3 kg can be released in agreement with the administration, if it is confirmed that the fish is not injured and will survive.
Trophy fish over 3 kg are paid at a double rate.

Overview of Laguna Fishing Park

The lagoon is a real park that offers you excellent fishing and the opportunity to have a good rest alone, with your family, or with a large group all year round. Despite the proximity of the capital (6 km from the Moscow Ring Road), it has preserved its magnificent nature, untouched by urbanization.

There are two ponds within the park where you can go fishing for a fee. One large one (13 hectares) contains carp, roach, grass carp, silver carp, perch, bream, trout, crucian carp, pike, tench, and catfish. Among the fish there are trophy (up to 15 kg) specimens. The peculiarity of the pond: the fish do not feed on purpose, so the fishing process is as close to natural as possible.

The second pond is smaller (0.5 hectares) and is intended for fast fishing. The guarantee of fish activity and its continuous biting is ensured by its high concentration in the reservoir. In addition to the fish species noted above, this pond contains trout, Lena sturgeon, beluga, and American catfish.

Fishing in the ponds of Laguna Park in summer is allowed with two fishing rods from the shore. The fish catch rate is not limited. Cost of the tour: daily – 3 thousand rubles, day – 2 thousand rubles, night – 1.5 thousand rubles. The services include the sale of fishing equipment and accessories. The caught fish can be smoked on site.

Prices

Fishing cost:

A one-time ticket per day or night to the main (upper) reservoir costs 2,000 rubles. The price includes a catch of 10 kg of any fish.
Exceeding the norm will cost 200 rubles per 1 kg of pike, trout, catfish, tench, carp, carp, carp, silver carp.
The price of a guest pass to the training (lower) reservoir will be 500 rubles.

Caught fish is paid separately based on:

800 rubles – for 1 kg of sturgeon, sterlet;
350 rubles – for 1 kg of trout;
300 rubles – for 1 kg of tench, catfish;
250 rubles – for 1 kg of grass carp, carp, carp.

A personalized card is issued without the right to transfer to other persons and provides the owner with the following benefits:

purchasing a daily voucher to the main reservoir for 2000 rubles;
the right to pre-book bridges, gazebos, and huts by phone;
discount on a one-time ticket per day or night 25%, on overfishing 10%; for renting a house, gazebo - 33%;
permission to set up your own tent or marquee at the fishing site;
10% discount in the club store and 25% on fish smoking service;
the possibility of catch-and-release fishing in the main reservoir (the “Sports” tariff costs 1,200 rubles).

Rules for issuing a permit for sport fishing:

the participant must have his own sports equipment;
the equipment meets the requirements for safe fishing and does not injure the fish;
The catch rate is not limited.

The club card costs 40,000 rubles and is issued indefinitely.

The main pond is conventionally divided into 2 zones: trout and carp;
The cost of a trip to one of the sites is 2000 rubles, for both - 3000 rubles;

The catch rate is not limited;
Fishing hours at the base in the autumn-winter period are from 07.00 to 17.00.

Renting houses:

The cost of a house for two is 5,000 rubles per day, 3,000 rubles per day or night.
The cost of a house for four is 8,000 rubles per day, 5,000 rubles per day or night.
The cost of a 3-room house for four is 10,000 rubles per day, 8,000 per day or night.

Gazebo rental:

Rental price per day or night: 1500 – up to 6 guests; 3000 – up to 24 guests; 10,000 – up to 80 guests.

Tackle and fishing methods

The most convenient gear for fishing on Maly Misailovsky Pond is the following:

Float rod - for fishing in this reservoir, medium-length Bolognese rods (5-6 meters) with simple reels or small spinning reels are used. Since there are a lot of carp in the pond weighing more than a kilogram, the fishing line for such gear is chosen to be quite thick and strong with a cross-section of 0.25-0.27 mm.
Spinning - since the number of pike in the pond is small, and its size rarely exceeds 2-3 kilograms, for fishing with artificial baits, spinning rods with a dough of 5 to 15 grams, 210-240 cm long are used. Such a spinning rod is equipped with a spinning reel of size 2000 -2500. To catch perch, use lightweight 210-220-centimeter ultralight blanks with casting weight from 0.5 to 7-8 grams.
Feeder – the most suitable for such a small pond are short picker rods 300-330 cm long with a weight of up to 60 grams. Reliable “meat grinders” in the size of 3000-4000 are used as the power unit for such equipment.
Donka – for catching carp you can also use simple bottom tackle, consisting of a rigid “Crocodile” type rod with a spinning reel of size 3000-4000.

Various net fishing tools (TV sets, lifts, seines) as well as sweeps, muzzles, and traps are prohibited on the territory of the base. To catch live bait, it is allowed to use a small bait - a small lift with a canvas size of 100x100 cm and a cell of no more than 10 mm.

But, although the pond is large, the opportunities are limited due to the high demand for the place. You can get into trouble due to the large influx of people wanting to go fishing and stand in line for a long time at the fishing spot.

The disadvantages, of course, are the high cost of the trip. But the latter can be understood - there is a demand for the base both among fishermen and just vacationers.

By car you can get there like this:

Drive along Kashirskoye Highway from Moscow;
After passing the Moscow Ring Road, after 2 km keep to the right along Kashirskoe Highway;
After about 2.5 km, turn left onto Volodarskoye Highway;
Drive along Volodarskoye Highway for about 1.5 km to Misailovo;
Before the bus stop, near the Laguna Park sign, turn left;
Drive between private houses and immediately after house 137A turn right;
Continue past the townhouses and along the edge of the forest for about 1.5 km to the fishing park parking lot.

By public transport:
