Spring spawning ban in 2021 on reservoirs of the Rostov region

It is worth noting that spawning bans are divided according to the type of reservoirs and their significance for the biological ecosystem of the region. Here are the fishing restrictions:

• From November 15 to March 31 - in wintering pits;
• In spawning and fish passage (bypass) canals of waterworks;
• Within the protected exclusion zones of hydraulic structures and bridges established in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;
• On canals of spawning and rearing farms, with the exception of canals or parts thereof provided for the organization of amateur and sport fishing;
• In the Sea of ​​Azov, the Kerch Strait and the Taganrog Bay - at a distance of more than 1.5 km from the coast.

Wintering pits in the Rostov region

From November 15 to March 31 - in wintering pits, according to Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia dated 06/09/2015 N 234, as well as amendments to the Order of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia dated 01/09/2020 No. 1 “On approval of fishing rules for the Azov-Black Sea fishery basin” in water In objects of the Rostov region of fishery importance, the extraction of biological resources is prohibited.

List of wintering pits in the Rostov region:

From March 1 to May 31, 2021, fishing is prohibited in the RO in the areas (clause 47.2):

a) in the Mokraya Chumburka River - from the mouth to the northwestern outskirts of the Yushkino farmstead;

b) in the Taganrog Bay from the southwestern outskirts of the village of Margaritovo to the northeastern outskirts of the village of Novomargaritovo and deep into the bay at a distance of less than 1.5 km;

c) in front of the branch of the Miussky Estuary at a distance of less than 2.5 km in both directions from the branch;

d) in the Veselovsky reservoir:

in the Sagovaya, Zhitkova, Tazina, Malaya Sadkovka, Bolshaya Sadkovka gully in the area of ​​the Mitrofanovsky and Lyagushatnik islands;

Grekova beam in the area of ​​Bolshoi Island;

e) in the tributaries of the Seversky Donets River: the Kundryuchya River (from the mouth to the Prokhorovskaya Dam); the Bystraya River (from the mouth to the administrative border of the village of Zhirnov); the Kalitva River (from the mouth to the administrative border of the village of Litvinovka);

e) on the section of the Seversky Donets River from the Ust-Bystryanskaya pier to the Bronnitskaya crossing.

From April 1 to May 31 (clause 47.3):

a) in the Aksai River with the Tuzlov, Grushevka and Erik Karaich rivers flowing into it, the Cherkasskaya River with the Makhinsky Estuary, the Koysug River;

From May 1 to June 1, 2021, fishing is prohibited in the Tsimlyansk Reservoir (clause 47.4):

from the Tsimlyanskaya hydroelectric power station dam to the railway bridge at the Lozhki railway station, with the exception of the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources from the shore without the use of all types of vessels and floating craft:

1 float rod (consisting of a rod, line, float, sinker, leash and hook) or bottom fishing rod (consisting of a rod, line or cord, sinker, leash, hook and feeder) with 1 hook per 1 citizen;

one float rod (consisting of a rod, line, float, sinker, leash and hook) or bottom fishing rod (consisting of a rod, line or cord, sinker, leash, hook and feeder) with 1 hook per 1 citizen;

spinning rod (spinning gear (spinning rod) consists of a fishing rod and is equipped with 1 natural or artificial bait, equipped with no more than hooks (single, and (or) double, and (or) triple)). Additionally, a sinker without hooks can be placed in front of the bait.

From April 20 to June 1 - in the Don River (section 47.7):

with all its tributaries, branches, channels and hollow lakes in the area above the mouth of the Ilovlya River, with the exception of the extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources from the shore without the use of all types of vessels and floating craft:

1 float rod (consisting of a rod, line, float, sinker, leash and hook) or bottom fishing rod (consisting of a rod, line or cord, sinker, leash, hook and feeder) with 1 hook per citizen;

spinning (spinning tackle (spinning) consists of a fishing rod and is equipped with 1 natural or artificial bait, equipped with no more than 3 hooks (single and (or) double and (or) triple). Additionally, a sinker without hooks can be placed in front of the bait.

From September 1 to June 15 (section 47.9) - using spinners on the Don River: from the water intake of the Semikarakorsk cannery to the upper tip of Razdorsky Island.

From the melting of ice to June 30 - on the Manych River - from the mouth to the forbidden space of the Ust-Manych hydroelectric complex (section 47.10).

From April 15 to June 15 , fishing for fish is prohibited (clause 47.11).

From January 1 to June 14 – crayfish in water bodies of the Rostov region (excluding the Tsimlyansk reservoir) (clause 47.12.).

From January 1 to September 15 - crayfish in the Tsimlyansk Reservoir (section 47.12).

From November 15 to March 31 - carry out spearfishing everywhere on inland water bodies (clause 47.14).

From March 15 to April 30 - fish in the Stroymanych Bay of Lake Manych-Gudilo and in the Kalaus River from the mouth at a distance of 3 km upstream (section 47.18).

Throughout the year, fishing for pike perch and bersh in the Don River from the Tsimlyansky hydroelectric dam to the mouth. This measure applies to the basins of all rivers flowing into this section of the Don (excluding the Veselovskoye and Proletarskoye reservoirs on the Manych River), in the Sea of ​​Azov and in the Taganrog Bay (clause 47.19 ).

From December 1 to April 30, pike perch and bersh cannot be caught in the Veselovsky and Proletarsky reservoirs (clause 47.20 ).

From January 5 to (28) February 29 pike fishing is prohibited in water bodies of fishery importance in the Rostov region (clause 47.21). At this time she spawns.

From March 15 to April 30 - pike perch in water bodies of fishery importance in the Rostov region (47.22).

From May 1 to June 30 - all types of fish in the Yegorlyk River from the bowl of the cantilever spillway from the Buffer Reservoir to the confluence with the Novotroitskoye Reservoir (47.23).

From March 15 to April 30 - rams and roaches in the Sea of ​​Azov, Taganrog Bay, the Don River below the Tsimlyanskaya Hydroelectric Power Station dam with its tributaries (except for the Manych River) (clause 47.25).

From April 1 to April 30 - mullet (singil, mullet, mullet) everywhere (clause 47.26).

New fishing rules have been introduced in the Rostov region

Now, according to the new rules, you will have to say goodbye to catches that exceed 5 kilograms - a daily catch rate per person has been introduced within the Azov-Black Sea basin. “The daily catch is justified by the fact that the number of our amateur fishermen in concentrated areas is quite dense. Because of this, the catch is almost industrial,” explains Vladimir Khizhnyakov, deputy head of the operational department of the Azov-Black Sea territorial department of the Federal Fisheries Agency.

In addition, during the year it is prohibited to catch pike perch and bersh from the dam of the Tsimlyansky hydroelectric complex to the mouth, including the basins of all rivers flowing into this section of the Don, as well as in the Sea of ​​Azov and in the Taganrog Bay. The exception is the Veselovskoye and Proletarskoye reservoirs on the Manych River. The administrative fine for violations of the new rules is from 2 to 5 thousand rubles. Sergei Kozyrev, an experienced fisherman, notes that such changes will be beneficial and will help preserve the inhabitants of Don reservoirs.

“It doesn’t happen from day to day, sometimes there are such fishing trips that you are left completely without a tail. Sometimes there are days when you get a decent catch. If each of us follows these rules, then everyone will get fish,” notes amateur fisherman Sergei Kozyrev.

Rybnadzor reminds you that you will have to “reel in” your fishing rods during certain periods of the year. For example, you cannot catch pike until the end of February.

50.5. The total daily production (catch) rate for all types of aquatic biological resources (except for rapana and crucian carp) indicated in Table 2 is no more than 5 kg or 1 specimen if its weight exceeds 5 kg.

Extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources is permitted in an amount of no more than 1 daily norm when staying on a water body for 1 day.
