For comfortable outdoor recreation all year round, every lover of fishing, hunting and camping thinks about purchasing a stove for a tent. The PF Bereg company brings to your attention wood-burning camping stoves. In this article we will discuss their features, advantages and installation principle.
Advantages and features of wood-burning stoves for Bereg tents:
Before you buy a stove for your tent, make sure you have the most important elements!
- The design of all Bereg stoves includes a spark arrester located in the upper part of the firebox. Its presence increases the operational safety of the product and also allows for greater efficiency of its operation. An afterburning chamber is formed in the firebox, which does not allow heat to escape directly into the chimney. Thus, the stove operates longer on one stack of wood and heats the room more intensely than analogues without a spark arrester;
- Removable legs allow you to reduce transportation dimensions, which makes transportation and storage of the product more convenient. There are special holes in the legs to protect against overheating. The bottom of each leg is equipped with a plastic plug that prevents damage to the floor;
- The presence of stationary screens on the end and bottom parts of the firebox allows you to protect the floor and awning from heat;
- The range includes highly specialized models. For example, Bath or Army stoves, the design of which is designed for maximum efficiency in the given conditions;
- For the Housekeeper series, it is possible to choose the most suitable option for the buyer’s purposes of protective screens: removable or stationary ;
- Depending on the conditions and purposes of use, you can choose the appropriate size of the model. From the most compact (Economy Mini) to the largest (Army).

When there is heavy snow and severe winds outside, it is important to be able to hide from the elements in a safe and cozy place. Universal winter tents UP with stoves from PF "Bereg" will accommodate you comfortably! Are you planning a long trip and are planning to spend the night? You need to think about heating your tent. PF "Bereg" offers a wide range of camping stoves for tents from different manufacturers!
PF "Bereg" stoves are used for heating tents, organizing bathing procedures in bathhouse tents and cooking food in camping conditions. Camping stoves for Bereg tents are designed taking into account the wishes of fishermen, hunters and tourists, as well as possible applications that may be useful to you.
Materials
The body of stoves for winter tents is made of heat-resistant AISI 430 stainless steel; the wall thickness can be from 0.5 to 1 mm, depending on the chosen model. This thickness of steel provides the right balance between durability and weight of the tent set with wood stove.
PF "Bereg" takes special care in the development of camping stoves, so that you can be sure that you are purchasing a high-quality and easy-to-use product for a long time!
Design features of Bereg stoves
A mandatory element included in the design of all models of Bereg stoves is a spark arrestor. Equipping tent stoves with a spark arrester increases protection against burning through the external tent and ensures a burning duration of 6-9 hours on one load of firewood. This burning duration is available even in mini-stoves for tents.
All Bereg tent stoves are equipped with a bottom screen that prevents ice and snow from melting under the tent during winter fishing.
To ensure safety, camping stoves are equipped with a rear screen, which, when using the stove in a tent, significantly reduces the temperature impact on the inner awning.
The edge of the opening of the combustion chamber of PF "Bereg" furnaces is made of two layers of metal, which prevents its deformation.
Camping stoves for tents PF "Bereg" are equipped with removable legs, which ensure stability in the tent and compactness during transportation.
For rational fuel consumption, the combustion chambers of the stoves (except for the “Economka” Mini, “Economka” Malaya, “Kamin” Malaya and “Vector”) are equipped with two stainless steel plates welded along the side walls, located at an angle of 45 degrees. Such structural elements of camp stoves for tents act as additional stiffening ribs.
offers for purchase a range of stoves for long-burning tents. You can choose from stoves with a choice of sizes (“Economy” and “Fireplace”). As well as unique models designed to effectively solve specific problems of a fisherman, hunter or tourist (“Vector”, “Bannaya” and “Army”).
Furnaces "Economka" Bereg
Long-burning stoves “Ekonomka” have several operating options, allowing the owner to solve a number of problems with one purchase. A special feature of stoves for Ekonomka tents is that they are equipped with screens. Such screens increase efficiency and ease of use.
Stoves for "Housekeeper" tents are equipped with a removable combustion door and a special adjustment glass, which allows you to control the oxygen supply and the burning time of the wood-burning stove (briquettes). To increase safety, wood-burning stoves "Economka" can be equipped with removable or stationary side screens. The removable stove screens are adjustable and allow you to use the “Ekonomka” stove not only for heating and cooking, but also for organizing a camp sauna in a tent. The stationary screens of the Ekonomka stove are non-removable, which contributes to additional structural rigidity and reduces the stove assembly time.
Stoves for "Ekonomka" tents are available in 4 models of different sizes: Mini, Small, Medium and Large. Long-burning stoves of the "Economy" series are suitable for tents of any manufacturer.
The stove for the "Housekeeper" tent, Mini and Small, has a metal thickness of the combustion chamber of 0.5 mm, screens and pipes - 0.4 mm. The small but sufficient thickness of the metal in the small stoves of the “Ekonomka” series is due to the low weight and the possibility of installing such stoves in small and medium-sized tents (for example, “Sputnik-3”, “Winter-Summer”, UP-2 mini).
The stove for the "Housekeeper" tent, Medium and Large, has a metal thickness of the combustion chamber of 0.8 mm, screens and pipes - 0.5 mm. Camping stoves of medium and large sizes are designed for use in larger area tents: UP-1, UP-2, UP-4, UP-5.
A wide range, detailed study of characteristics, expert tests of each stove model allow for the most efficient use of them in all Bereg PF tents. To use a stove in a tent, you just need to choose a model based on your tasks, and our specialists will help you make the right choice.

The stove "Fireplace" Bereg from PF "Bereg" was created specifically for heating winter tents. This series of wood-burning stoves is an innovation on the market due to the addition of heat-resistant ceramic glass walls (made in Germany, thickness 4 mm) to the standard design. Heat-resistant glass can withstand temperatures up to 750 degrees Celsius.
Due to the addition of glass-ceramic elements, Bereg "Fireplace" stoves have a number of advantages compared to the standard design.
— Glass screens of the camp stove provide better illumination of the tent at night;
— The user of the stove in the tent can control the availability of fuel (wood) to maintain a comfortable temperature;
— Due to infrared radiation, the heat transfer of glass walls is greater compared to the walls of stainless steel furnaces.
When heating tents, the tightness of the stove structure is ensured by argon welding. To prevent damage to the glass, the junction of the metal and glass-ceramic parts of the furnace is filled with a sealant made of heat-resistant fabric.
Bereg "Fireplace" stoves are produced on the basis of the "Housekeeper" series and have all the positive qualities of this line. All tent stoves are equipped with two stationary screens: rear and bottom. The function of the screens is to prevent the melting of ice or the smoldering of grass under the stove, as well as to protect the covering of the bottom of the tent during operation of the stove. The “Fireplace” stove is supplied with two removable screens. The position of the screens can be adjusted as desired (above or below the hob, required distance to the side wall). Removable screens are a guarantee of safety when operating the stove. The screens reduce the heating temperature of the side walls in the direct contact area, which helps avoid burns and damage to clothing and equipment. Also, the side screens provide reliable protection for the glass during transportation of the Fireplace stove. The delivery set of "Fireplaces" includes metal plates that can replace glass walls.
The wood-burning stove for tents “Fireplace” is equipped with handles on the end walls for easy transportation and disposal of ash.
Buying a stove for a tent makes it possible to enjoy comfort even in harsh climatic conditions.
ATTENTION! The "Fireplace" tent heating stove can only be used as a heating and cooking stove! The use of the “Fireplace” stove for organizing a camp bath is unacceptable due to the likelihood of damage to the glass-ceramic walls due to the difference in temperature of the water and hot glass.
The long-burning stove for the Bereg “Vector” tent has the shape of a regular octagon. Due to this shape, “Vector” has increased rigidity and, as a result, greater resistance to deformation at high temperatures. The material used to make the Vector stove is heat-resistant stainless steel AISI 430, 1 mm thick. The thickness of the sheet helps achieve the right durability to weight ratio for your tent stove.
The tightness of the wood-burning stove for the Vector tent is ensured by additional cooking with argon. The intensity and duration of combustion, heat transfer coefficient, as well as safety when using the stove in a tent are ensured by a spark arrester.
To quickly heat the tent and protect the user from burns or melted clothing, the Vector mobile stove is equipped with four stationary screens. To control the oxygen supply, the furnace combustion chamber is equipped with an improved oxygen supply system. Thanks to the non-standard design of the door (the air supply holes are covered with a plate on the inside), there is no fear of sparks and hot coals escaping from the combustion chamber. The door is supplemented with a seal and allows for finer control of the air supply in the combustion chamber.
The Vector mobile stove is suitable for heating medium and large-sized winter tents. For example, universal tents UP-4, UP-5 and winter fishing tents Cube “Hexagon”, Cube 3.60, Cube 4.40.
The Bereg “Bannaya” stove was created specifically for use in conjunction with a camp sauna tent.
The “Bannaya” stove box is made of steel 0.8 mm thick. Increased tightness and wear resistance are ensured by welding the bottom of the furnace with argon.
The stove for the Bereg “Bannaya” camping sauna is equipped with reflective screens to ensure safety and quick heating of the tent sauna. The box for storing stones is formed by stationary screens located above the level of the hob. The design is designed for laying stones weighing up to 20 kg.
The door of the stove for the “Bannaya” camp sauna is similar to the design of the “Economka” stoves. It is completely removable and has no additional fastenings, which reduces the likelihood of breakage.
Stove "Army" Bereg
The Bereg "Army" stove for army tents is used for heating army tents and cooking food in camp conditions. The thickness of the stainless heat-resistant steel from which the body of the Army furnace is made is 1 mm. The stove is the largest in terms of combustion chamber volume among long-burning camp stoves produced by PF Bereg.
The “army” stove is equipped with a grate and an ash pan. When fuel burns, ash passes through the grate and accumulates in the retractable ash pan. This design simplifies ash disposal and eliminates the need for additional cleaning by the user. The function of the ash pan of the Army stove is also to supply oxygen to the combustion chamber.
The “Army” stove for army tents is equipped in the upper part with reinforced rods that act as stiffeners. This solution allows you to increase service life without significant metal deformation. The oven comes with three reflective screens.
For comfort when using PF "Bereg" stoves in a tent, it is recommended to use them with additional components and camping furniture.
An additional purchase may include water tanks of different sizes. For the “Economka” Mini or Small stoves, as well as for the “Fireplace” Small stove, a tank with a volume of 7 liters and a chimney diameter of 65 mm is suitable. For camp stoves “Economka” and “Kamin” of medium and large sizes, as well as for the “Vector” and “Bannaya” stoves, a 12-liter tank with a chimney diameter of 80 mm is suitable. The “Army” stove for army tents is designed for use with a tank with a volume of 17 liters and a diameter of 100 mm.
Important additions to the purchase of a tent stove will be: a mat made of heat-resistant fabric, a smoke detector and a chimney deflector. The ignition process and combustion efficiency can be significantly improved using RUF briquettes.

Reviews from fishermen
A gas heater for me, today, is the only optimal solution to the issue of heat in a tent. It is multifunctional: it can be used for cooking, lighting and warming. Convenient, simple and fast. Grade:
Maxim, 42 years old, Novosibirsk
I used regular candles before. For our anniversary, the grandchildren gave us an infrared gas heater. A very effective thing during winter fishing. It warms up the tent quickly and is compact, which is important because... Due to my age, it is difficult to carry a heavy backpack. Powered by a tall gas cylinder. I recommend it to avid fans of winter fishing. Grade:
Petr Afanasyevich, 60 years old, Primorsk
2 years ago I bought a tent heater: gas control, CO control, position sensor, i.e. if it falls, it will not burn through or burn my shelter. Great stuff! I often use it when fishing in winter. Works even in snow. Grade:
Konstantin, 35 years old, Tver
For short fishing trips, I prefer to use a kerosene heater. 15 minutes after switching on, the tent becomes warm. I sleep under a thin blanket, wearing thermal underwear. Sometimes even wet things dry out. Fuel consumption per night is about half a tank of kerosene. There is no smell, the main thing is to remember to open the valves in the tent. Grade:
Stepan Ilyich, 54 years old, Petrozavodsk
The first time was with my father on winter fishing. I dressed warmly, took a thermos of tea, and a sleeping bag, in general, insulated myself as best I could! After setting up the tent, my father turned on some device, and literally half an hour later I felt hot. I couldn’t even imagine that an ordinary primus stove could heat a tent so much. Grade:
Evgeniy, 19 years old, Moscow
Note! Buying the right tent for winter fishing is half the battle. It is also necessary to provide high-quality heating. Modern fishermen have this opportunity. Without extra effort and high costs, they can provide themselves with comfortable fishing conditions by using camp heating devices. But what exactly is a purely individual matter.
Installation of removable protective screens
If the design involves the presence of removable protective screens, then, depending on the purpose of use, they can be installed in 2 different positions relative to the hob:
Position 1. Flush with the hob. Suitable for cooking as it allows you to conveniently place the dishes.
Position 2. Above the hob. Raised screens form a box for laying stones necessary for organizing a bathhouse in the field.
ATTENTION! The Fireplace series is not intended for organizing bath procedures.
During transportation, the removable screens must be pressed tightly against the box ( Position 3 ). You can remove them by loosening the thumb-mounted mechanism. In the future, the heating intensity of the room can be adjusted by the position of the screens.
Position 1 Position 2 Position 3
Replacing glass-ceramic inserts in fireplace stoves
In case of damage to the glass-ceramic screens, metal plates are supplied with the Fireplace stove to replace them.
The replacement process consists of the following steps:
1. Place the oven in working position;
2. Unscrew the fasteners, remove the plate securing the transparent screen;
3. Carefully remove the glass ceramic insert. Do not remove the heat resistant seal;
4. Insert the metal plate in place of the transparent glass-ceramic screen;
5. Install the fasteners to fix the insert in its original position.
Detailed video instructions for replacing the glass-ceramic insert with a metal plate.
Recommendations for additional equipment for a camp stove:
— a water tank (7, 12 or 17 liters depending on the model) will ensure the constant availability of hot water and will also allow you to organize bath procedures;
— the deflector will protect the awning from accidental sparks, and will also prevent precipitation and wind from entering the chimney pipe, so that the combustion intensity will not decrease;
— the insulated segment is placed first in the chimney to protect against accidental contact with the hot pipe by hand, or can be useful for those who want to install the stove in a tent without specialized cutting of the chimney;
— a 45° swivel elbow allows you to remove the chimney pipe at an angle, reducing the impact of wind;
— fuel briquettes , allowing you to achieve a longer working time on one stack.

Precautions for tent stoves
When using a stove to heat a tent, do not forget that you are dealing with fire. It is worth observing several basic safety measures so that your vacation does not turn into a tragedy:
- The tent must be suitable for a stove. Fire-based heating devices should not be used unless the tent material is heat-resistant.
- The stove must be used strictly for its intended purpose. If the design does not provide for this, you cannot cook food and heat the tent at the same time. You should also dry things over a fire that is located outside, rather than using a stove.
- The distance from the stove to the tent material should be about a meter.
- There must be a spark arrester in the pipe.
- Do not use flammable liquids for kindling.
- You should sleep away from the stove. It is advisable to place the couch or sleeping bag at a height of 20 cm to protect against carbon monoxide.
A winter camping trip for several days will be possible if you purchase a tent stove. However, there are many ways to make a heating device yourself. The most important thing is to follow safety measures, and then your vacation will become not only exciting, but also comfortable.
