Description of the fish

when cold weather sets in, the fanged fish moves to wintering pits, fishing at this time becomes ineffective, but if the days are sunny, then it is caught on balance beams and vertical spoons.

The hooks must be sharp, chemically sharpened, because the palate of this predator is very hard.

Features of different fishing techniques

Most often, you can catch pike perch using a spinning rod or jig. To fish from the shore you need to make long casts. The depth of the reservoir and the degree of water transparency are preliminarily determined. Also pay attention to the bottom topography. You can use porridge to bait the fishing spot, but in small quantities.

Winter fishing. The best time is after the first ice has formed. The fish shows maximum activity and bites well even on artificial bait. But it is preferable to use live bait.
