Fishing on rivers and lakes

In fact, it is an all-season type of prey: you can start fishing in the spring, and it is at this time that there is the greatest probability of catching trophy specimens; in the summer there may be a decrease in the bite, but by September it resumes and continues until mid-October or early November, depending on weather conditions.
It is also recommended to choose bait depending on the season: in the spring worms or insect larvae are suitable, in the summer the diet is based on plant foods, and in the fall the bream again prefers worms and inhabitants of the river bottom.
In winter, prey becomes active if meltwater gets under the ice; during this period, fishing with bloodworms is most effective. To get a large catch, it is recommended to feed the area with plant food for several days. If fishing is carried out from the side of a vessel, then the use of an echo sounder is mandatory.
Pike. This predator is very good to catch in the spring: the fish bites equally successfully on both live prey attached to a hook and artificial bait launched using a spinning rod. In summer, pike is characterized by an increased degree of capriciousness; it is recommended that only experienced fishermen fish during this period; beginners have virtually no chance of catching.
The intensification of the bite occurs in the fall, shortly before freeze-up, since at this time the predator stores up fat before the cold winter; it is best to fish at this time only with a spinning rod. In the winter months, other fish are used as bait - crucian carp, perch, gudgeon and others.
Som. The process of catching it will be more complicated, since you will initially need to find the deepest places at the bottom of the reservoir, for this you need to use an echo sounder. Fishing on the Krasnodar estuaries
There are many estuaries in Kuban that can give fishermen a good catch. Almost the entire coast of the Azov Sea on Temryuk-Primorsko-Akhtarsk consists of such reservoirs. The area around them is impassable, there are no roads or communications.

Where is the Akhtanizovsky Estuary on the map?
Geographically, this is the northeast of the Taman Peninsula. History of creation and geography

It was connected only with the Azov region through the narrow Peresyp branch, which saturates it with salty sea water, making it the Krasnodar Dead Sea.
Wanting to somehow change the situation, the Cossacks from the villages of Temryukskaya and Starotitarovskaya, located on the estuary banks, in dire need of fresh liquid, decided at the beginning of the 19th century to undertake an unprecedented task - laying a canal to the mouth of the Kuban.
Work began in 1819 and lasted for two decades, but the goal was achieved, however, through titanic efforts. Yes, it seems unthinkable, people who understood little about this, without experienced leadership and the necessary tools, accomplished an unprecedented feat of labor.
And to better understand what he expressed himself in, it will be enough to look at the Kazachiy Erik river - it is the canal that connected the Akhtanizovsky estuary with the greatest river of the Krasnodar region. Only primitive equipment such as picks and shovels were used in construction.
The removed soil was taken out on horseback and dumped in the floodplains - and so on year after year.
The laying of the mini-canal ended with the triumph of human genius in the early 40s. XIX century. An impressive ditch, reaching a depth of 20 m, stretching for 32 km, connected the estuary with the river, which desalinated it. But there was another side to the coin that is often forgotten.
The Kuban by that time flowed into the Black Sea, but after uncontrolled intervention in the river ecosystem, its water rushed in a frantic stream into the dug canal, eroding the bank and expanding the channel, after which it changed the direction of the flow, turned towards the Azov coast, forming a new delta.
